Hi everyone! Finally we got over jet lag and can share our experience during WWDC 2011 in San Francisco.

Readdle team was split into 2 groups. First, represented by our CTO, attended WWDC keynote and workshops. The second part of our team was in the city to meet up journalists, bloggers and partners who were in the Bay Area during the WWDC.

On the technical side: our CTO had to wake up at 4 AM to get into the room with a main keynote, where Steve Jobs and others talked about iOS5, OS X Lion and iCloud. You have been overwhelmed with the news about Apple improvements, so we will not be repeating all of them. We will integrate the new services and features into our apps, particularly interesting will be iCloud support and some cool iOS5 features.

On the other side: it was an amazing chance to meet some great people. We’ve met AppAdvice Team, Rene from TiPb, Jeff from 148apps, Neil from MacTech, Leander from Cult of Mac, Jesse and Dennis from iLounge, and many other cool guys.

TUAW crew surprised us by the serious approach to this event: they were interviewing some of the most popular developers and shooting app review episodes. Our team member was showing off PDF Expert for iPad, the video should be available on TUAW soon, hopefully.

There was a bunch of nice after parties, where everybody went to enjoy the cocktails and relax. Mobclix & Groupon event was one of the best.

And as always, we did not miss the opportunity to enjoy this wonderful city, with its mixed cultures and, of course, the magnificent Golden Gate Bridge.

Overall, it was a big step forward for Apple and iOS. We will be working hard to bring those improvements and integrate them with our applications, so you will be able to enjoy our best in class business and productivity apps on iOS5.
