PDF Expert is essential for students

“PDF Expert has fundamentally changed my work flow as a doctoral student and researcher. Honestly, if this app hasn’t existed, I would re-consider my purchase decision of an iPad.

I collect, read, and organize research papers all the time, and all of them are in PDF formats. By using PDF Expert and Dropbox, I am able to create a seamless experience of handling this PDFs. When I found an interesting paper on computer, I would drop it into a specific Dropbox directory. When I open my iPad, open PDF expert and click the Sync button, boom… the paper came in! If the font size is small, I can zoom in; if there are large blank space around the content, I can enable crop mode. When I found anything important, I can use my finger to simply (I mean it!) select the text and underline or highlight it. When I need to write something up at computers, PDF Expert can quickly help me locate the research paper and list all my annotations clearly and concisely in one place. Everything works extremely well and efficient, and I like the minimum look of PDF Expert. Better yet, the company is very responsive and they have addressed many of my feature requests in the latest 3.0 updates. This app has definitely become an essential part of my life, and I recommend it to all iPad-equipped students or researchers.”
