4K Reads Later: What I’d Change in My Article

--

Hey everyone! I wrote “Top 30 Coding Tools Every Developer Should Know About” few month ago and got great responses from the 4K readers who viewed it. Many readers contacted me with feedback so I took notes for potential improvements in a hypothetical edit.

One thing i have realized that few aspects of the article require more clarity and engagement throughout. I will analyze my past article here while also reviewing its results along with guidance to others who write about the same topics.

1. Making the Content More User-Friendly

After 4K reads, I saw how important it is to make coding articles easy to understand and relatable. Although I tried to cover everything in-depth, some parts of the article were more technical than necessary. This could have made it harder for new developers to engage with the content.

  • Shorter descriptions: I’d simplify some tool descriptions since beginners don’t need too much detail.
  • More examples: Adding simple real-life examples of how these tools are used would have made it much easier for readers to connect the theory to their own projects.

2. Breaking the Article into Smaller Sections
