A Wake-Up Call from Life Itself.

Life has its own peculiar ways to teach us lessons — lessons that we might not learn from books or even from the best communicators until we experience them.

In these past few days, I have been lucky enough to learn such a lesson. One might argue about the way in which life teaches because, usually, it teaches us the hard way, but nonetheless, those lessons stay with us throughout the whole journey. I guess the reason life teaches us the hard way is that it’s the price we have to pay for ignoring those exact same lessons being taught by someone else or a book.

As it’s obvious, nature forgives everything but not ignorance.

Nevertheless, before I actually describe what and how life taught me in these past few days, it’s important for me to actually give you some context so you can completely understand the situation.

So last month was a really tough one for me, considering the circumstances I found myself in — from having difficulty finding a good job to the added burden of responsibility that I had to manage alone.
