Create content with love, not out of pressure!
The only success metric for writing is how your heart feels
I remember I published my first article on my blog a few years back. It was about my grandfather who I love more than anybody else. It was my story of love and the grief of losing him a few years back. It took over 12 hours across 3 days to write. That was 2023.
Today, if I am not able to finish a draft within 4–6 hours, I feel worried and look to AI to guide me with prompts to help me finish my blogs, articles, scripts.
Let’s be honest. Now content creation has become a mechanical process. Keep churning out content — video, articles, blogs, scripts day on day without pausing to look at the impact or how it made you feel.
With AI making it absolutely easy for people to write content I am seeing this huge inflow of articles that are very well written but really lack the soul. They’re polished. But they don’t move you. They don’t make you pause.
When did we stop writing from the heart?
When did we replace joy with urgency? When did we stop asking ourselves why am I writing this and start asking will this get views?
