Let’s Get One Thing Straight First

This isn’t about blaming any gender.

Just like all women aren’t the same, all men aren’t either. I respect all.

What I am calling out? The tired old myths society forces on us, like:

“Real men don’t cry”

“A woman’s place is in the home”

“Gender equality means role reversal”

These boxes hurt everyone. So let’s unpack this together and feel free to share your take in the comments!

When women talk about gender equality, we don’t mean:

“Men should carry babies and breastfeed!” (Biology exists.)
“Women must do everything men do!” (We’re not trying to be men.)
“Destroy all gender differences!” (That’s not the point.)

What we actually mean:

“Let me choose my life without society’s permission slip.”
“Judge me by my ability, not my anatomy.”
“I want a partner, not a prison
