I’ve Been On Gumroad For a Few Weeks, And I Haven’t Sold a Thing

And I’m delighted

I admit it, I bought into the articles.

I made $3k in a week on Gumroad by selling my old shopping lists

Or whatever nonsense title appeared in my feed that day.

I thought,

How hard can it be? I’ve got a few ideas. If people are buying lists from this place, it’ll be easy

And, as you do, I did some quick mental maths to work out how much I’d be earning per month if just 100 people bought my courses.

It was insane amounts.

Do you know how many have bought my courses?

Zero

Not a one

How many people have visited my page?

7 and counting

But do you know what?

I don’t care

Because this is something new.

I’ll figure it out.

I’ve had blogs, I’ve had businesses, and I’ve been writing online for years.

I’m still not at the stage where I can give up my day job.

I put my courses on Gumroad, thinking I’d have 60-somethings beating a path to my door to buy them.
