In a small town nestled between gentle hills and a winding river, there lived a young girl named Mamatha. She was quiet, curious, and never afraid to ask questions.
Mamatha’s family was close-knit and loving, but they had firm ideas about how life should be lived. Her father, a schoolteacher, valued discipline and rules above all else. Her mother, a seamstress, believed in sticking to tradition. Mamatha’s brother, who was always ready for a fight, thought everyone should think just like him.

Mamatha didn’t see the world the way they did. She liked to watch the river flow and wonder where it might go next. She liked to climb the hill behind her house and watch the sky change. She liked to think for herself.
One evening, Mamatha was reading when she found a quote by Virginia Woolf:
