In this article, I am going to cover every aspect of the condition PTSD, it’s challenges, durability and overcoming techniques, including my own journey.

What is PTSD?

It stands for Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. The study says anyone can develop PTSD and also says that women and children are more prone to it.

We can define it as a mental health condition that is caused by witnessing extremely stressful or scary events. The events might have occurred in the life of the sufferer or they have evidenced such situations very closely.

Defined Symptoms —

Research states that a person surviving with PTSD disorder exhibits certain prodromes, such as —

  • Insomnia
  • Anger outbursts
  • An amalgamated feeling of guilt, nervousness and uneasiness
  • Sudden quiver, panting, hyperventilating
  • Excess perspiring
  • Sense of unknown fear
  • Irrelevant tensions
  • Reaction towards people, places and dates that bring back painful memories

and a lot of Nightmares.
