AI has transformed the landscape of the creator market, and thousands of people are fearful for their jobs and livelihoods, knowing that they could be replaced in an instant by something a million times quicker and more powerful than they are.
Not to mention cheaper.
Like it or not, AI is here to stay, and it will get more and more powerful.
Should we, as online content creators, be worried?
It’s a bandwagon at the moment that thousands have jumped onto thinking
Wow, this is awesome. Just ask ChatGPT to give you a list of the top ten XYZ, and hey presto. I’ve got an article to post.
Have a look through some of the content on Medium, and you can see at a glance what’s been spewed out by AI.
It is soulless and generic, cookie-cutter advice.
Anyone can ask ChatGPT to produce an article on any given topic.
What it can’t do is give us the human story.
