🔥 No matter how much I wish for certain body parts to: be larger, be less prominent, be stronger, be more visually appealing, or be changed for the better in any way, they remain as they are unless I exert a truly Herculean effort to change them

And even then, I’m often unsuccessful.

A lot like life.

🔥 After a certain age, most humans — myself included — begin to disappear in a wide variety of ways

And that’s often a good — although perhaps disconcerting — thing.

A lot like life.

🔥 Even if you take the best possible care of your mind and your body, you will weaken, perhaps sicken, and eventually die

This is life.

🔥 We all have the capacity for joy even under the worst…
