How to write to create success!!
Write so it makes you’re heart smile.
Success isn’t achieved without you’re heart & soul being put into your subject matter. So the first bit of advice I offer, is to do what you love, what makes your heart smile.
Then you’ve achieved what most people don’t, and that’s by doing what you love for your career; it doesn’t feel like work.
You don’t have to drag yourself out of bed in the morning. You don’t have that dreaded feeling of wishing you’re day away before you’ve even had breakfast!!
Find your niche and run with it. Don’t overcomplicate things by trying to write about any and everything.
Yes, it’s OK to cover various subjects and topics but stay within the boundaries of your subject matter.
If you don’t love what you read then don’t expect others to love it either!!
Spell check & recheck. If you know you have weak points then work on them. Don’t run before you can walk. Take your time, don’t rush.
Get other people to read and get their opinions. Take on board any constructive criticism, don’t dismiss it or let your ego get in the way.
Reach out and ask for advice, but make sure you’re asking peers in the writing business to pick their brains.
