Positive thinking

Positive thinking has a positive effect on our mindset and perception. However, it is important to be cautious. Positive thinking cannot move mountains; it is not magic. While it can change the way we perceive ourselves and our surroundings, it doesn’t magically create a pony or a holiday in the Maldives.

Positive thinking can aid in the healing process of the body and mind, but it is not a cure-all. For example, no addict becomes clean through positive thinking alone, and no cancer patient beats the disease solely by thinking positively.

Negative thinking, on the other hand,

… harms both the mind and the body. People who engage in negative thinking often find themselves attracting negativity. “Why always me?” is a common question from those stuck in this negative mindset.

When positive thinking alone doesn’t work

… sometimes you need to give it a little help. That’s what my experience has taught me.
