’Shroomin’ and Zoomin’

Zeroing in on small wonders in the woods

I know next to nothing about mushrooms’ edibility. Eat something I picked and your survival chances are maybe 50–50.

But I do know beauty when I see it, and these, photographed at Dyar Pasture, a national wildlife refuge in Green County, Georgia, are jaw-droppers.
