The biggest “awakening” in one’s life is to understand these two sets of rules of the world

Let’s first think about a question: Are the standards of behavior of elites and ordinary people the same?

The answer is negative. The elite has their way of “not spreading it to outsiders”, while ordinary people have their way of conducting themselves in the world. It is precisely because these two sets are different that the gap between the two groups exists.

As we all know, human society is structured according to the “Eighty-Eight Rule”. 20% of the elite own 80% of the resources, while 80% of the ordinary people can only struggle for 20%.

For ordinary people to become elites, they need to stand out from the 80% of the general population and simultaneously squeeze out some elites. This level of difficulty is as difficult as climbing into the sky.

It is difficult because the behavioral norms of ordinary people cannot support them to reach the peak of life. It’s just like, in the jungle world, if the beast has the mentality of a sheep, can it survive? They will be eaten by powerful beasts.

The greatest awakening in one’s life is to understand these two sets of rules in time.

In the short film, I believe we have all heard the speeches of successful people.

How do you feel after listening to the speeches of these successful people? It seems that they don’t feel anything, because what they talk about are all commonplace topics, and there is nothing new.

Some successful people say that they achieve success through persistence; some successful people say that they achieve success through emotion; some successful people say that they achieve success through hard work…

Isn’t it full of “chicken soup literature” style? Here comes the question, are these successful people relying on “chicken soup literature” to succeed? the answer is negative.

Human society is an upgraded version of the jungle world. It follows a higher-level “law of the jungle” and the competition is more cruel. Think about it, how can chicken soup literature make people successful?

One conclusion can be drawn: the public speeches of successful people are just “presence talk” and they do not dare to disclose the real secret of success to the public.

There are two sets of rules in the world. What ordinary people like you and me are exposed to are the apparent moral rules of benevolence, righteousness, and justice.

What we call “human feelings and sophistication” belongs to the second set of rules, which can be summarized as the unspoken rules of “manipulating people’s hearts”.

The internal method mentioned above is related to “manipulating people’s hearts”. Legalists have a famous saying: “If the punishment cannot be known, the power cannot be measured.”

If you don’t know the real rules, then you will be afraid of the rules. For example, if the boss does not explain the rules clearly and the employees make mistakes, they will blame themselves, and the boss will take advantage of the situation to take advantage of the employees.

In the complicated world, they will either be eliminated or become someone else’s meal. And a set of “internal methods” is the key to getting ahead.

To put it bluntly, “foreign Confucianism” will only cultivate honest people. And the set of “internal methods” is the successful “emperor’s mental technique”.

There are two sets of rules in this world, one is the apparent moral rules of benevolence and righteousness, and the other is the hidden rules that control people’s hearts. It can be summarized as Confucianism on the outside and Dharma on the inside.

Speaking of this, let us think about another question: why is it easy for “external Confucianism” to do, but “internal Dharma” cannot be achieved by ordinary people? It’s very simple because the “internal method” is very difficult.

If sheep want to learn “wolf skills”, they can only learn from wolves. The problem is that wolves will not teach “wolf skills” to sheep, they will only teach sheep to be kind.
