The Sweet Lesson of Humility: A Child’s Wisdom in Relying on Others
Discover the Heartwarming Story of a Little Boy’s Act of Humility and the Profound Lesson it Teaches About Wisdom and Cooperation”
Relying on others at the right time is humility and wisdom
Once, a mother took her little boy to the grocery store to buy some items. While they were there, the boss noticed the cute child and decided to open a can of candies. He asked the little boy to take a handful of candies for himself, however, the boy didn't make any move. Despite several invitations, the boy still didn't take any candy. So, the boss personally grabbed a handful of candies and put them into his pocket.
When they got back home, the mother was curious about why her little boy had asked the boss to catch the candies instead of grabbing them himself. The little boy gave her a wonderful answer saying, "Because my hands are smaller! And the boss's hands are bigger, so he should get them. He deserves more than I do!"
▲Learning to rely on others when appropriate is a form of humility and wisdom, rather than relying solely on one's own strength.
