What if I told you I know some steps to transport you to your dreamland? Well, follow me if you want to learn these steps.

You could have gotten closer to your dream life if you had taken these two steps 12 months ago.

You could have been a fine writer, painter, artist, and more, but you didn’t.

Either you abandoned your efforts or you didn’t take any action, or perhaps both.

Just imagine it. Where would you be today if you did something serious about your life a year ago?

You could have,

Set up a business.

Enrolled in a course.

Began writing online.

Hit the gym.

The point is, you didn’t. Cut yourself some slack. It is not entirely your fault.

Trekking a fresh path can be overwhelming and paralyzing if you don’t have a road map handy.

So, grab a cup of coffee and relax as I take you through an enthralling journey to your dreamland in a jiffy.

Unlock the full potential of your life with these proven strategies for maximum benefits.

Following these two steps will help accomplish a magnificent feat in your life or career.

These two steps may seem basic and familiar, but they can make the difference between who you are now and the person you want to be.

Read on.

1. Getting up every day and never giving up

Allow me to demystify some harsh truths about rising to feet every time you fall before we dive deep into it.

You won’t feel like getting up every day.

Life will get in your way.

You will get bored sometimes.

Some days will be long.

It’s okay, you are human.

Whatever happens to you, get up every morning with the same belief and commitment. Otherwise, you fail.

Ever heard the saying?

Fall down seven times, get up eight times.

Japanese proverb.

This proverb speaks to perseverance and never giving up no matter how many times you fail.

Let me put this into perspective with a personal story. I failed on Blogger about two years ago. Quit sharing threads on Twitter now (X) after a few months.

But I never gave up, I kept writing. Because my failures don’t define me, my wins do.

Look at me today, I am here on Medium, finding my voice, building a following, and discovering new opportunities I could never have envisaged a year or two ago.

I believe you have gone through a similar phase in your life before. Use that setback as a stepping stone to reach your ambitions.

It doesn’t matter if you have failed at something, get up and forge an alternative path for yourself.

You will catch your breaks with persistence and hard work.

No matter what happens to you, always find the courage and strength to get up. Never, ever give up.

Talk of your dreams

Do you even feel comfortable sleeping on your dreams?

Honestly, no. Never!

Not rising above your challenges is an insult to your person and the person you want to become.

When the sun rises, you have a simple choice. Either you get up from bed or continue to snooze your alarm.

The burden of stepping out and pursuing your purpose falls on your shoulders.

If you want something meaningful out of your life, embrace that responsibility fully.

By developing the spirit of grit and resilience, you can transform your life to the point others will admire and emulate.

And the best part is that you don’t need money to get up every day. Just cultivate a strong willpower by tapping into your sense of purpose.

2. Make a move

You are smart and have a lot of knowledge, but knowledge without action is merely arrogance.

Robert Kiyosaki.

This quote depicts the exact lifestyle most of us find ourselves in. In our constant search for new and better information, acting on already gathered information is often lost on us.

It is common for people to think and organize information, but only a few are brave enough to take decisive action.

Most of you will prioritize planning over execution.

However, the lofty plans you want to achieve rest solely on action.

You need to get out there and take action at some point if you want to study a craft, establish a business, or change your career.

Having all the information in the world without acting on it is as useless as not having any.

What about self-belief

Everything starts with you, your mindset, and your belief systems.

You have the potential to lead people, manage corporations, and change lives.

All that lies on the shoulders of self-belief. Believing in your abilities is the first step to making a headway in everything you do.

No one is drawn to an undecided individual. You are not acting.

That’s why some of your dreams will remain in your dreams forever.

This is a funny yet sad story about me in high school.

In high school, I fell for a girl named Betty, but I could never find the confidence to step up to her.

My heart will skip a beat whenever we cross paths in the hallway or at the library.

Since I couldn’t make the move, my love interest in her eventually evaporated into thin air. Sad isn’t it?

Don’t be like me. Make your move now.

Only action gets you the results.

No matter how small the move, the results will blow your mind in ways you could never dream of.

The good news

We can implement these steps in our daily lives without breaking the bank.

And you don’t need a course on this. Okay, maybe you do.

This article serves to remind you that the steps to accelerate your growth are within reach.

You can even implement them now. Just get up and make your move today.

Go to the gym.

Eat healthy food.

Write your first post today.

Start that course you have been putting off.

You can achieve a lot today just by taking these two steps.

Here’s the catch. The two complement each other. The more you get up, the more you take action.

And the more you take action, the more you build confidence.

Aside from confidence building, executing your goals gives you momentum to pursue more of your ambitions.

So, here are two actionable tips for you today.

1. Get up

2. Make a move
