ABOUT CONNECTEDREAMS
Connectedreams is an online data-driven, cultural context-aware networking platform to bridge the mentorship gap for young Indian women as they make transitions through various phases in life. Whether that is going from an undergraduate student into the workforce or higher education, switching careers, going back to work after pregnancy, or even promotion to CEO.

It is a non-sticky, non-traditional, and unconditional online mentorship platform which is not limited by geography. It is a global network of ambitious, talented individuals who can mutually benefit from each other. We offers a cohesive platform to discover, chat and schedule calls with peer experts (users who are 4–5 years ahead) to get advice across domains that reflect the varied interests of today’s professionals: finance, startup, tech, design, media, fashion, and public health, just to name a few.
Our mission is to promote the feeling of “She did it, so can I” by making it easy for you to find mentors with whom you can relate to aspirationally, professionally & culturally.
HOW IT WORKS
a) 1-O-1 — Recommendation Based Connections
Using your profile details, our machine learning algorithms and matching tools, connect you to role models or protégés with common dreams, career goals and possibly similar cultural background. We offers a cohesive platform to discover and schedule calls with peer experts (users who are 4–5 years ahead) to get advice across domains. We leverage technology to make the process of connections discovery seamless and provide abilities to chat in native language, bookmark profiles and schedule the phone calls. b) GROUPINAR — Curated Live Webinar Series
Selected professionals from varied walks of life are invited to share their experience and expertise related to tech, design, start-ups, and new ideas. They are free and open to all. Check out the Groupinar page for more information.

OUR RULES
Connectedreams was created keeping in mind essential nature of all human beings is to be kind, considerate, helpful, intelligent, responsible, and respectful of others. This doesn’t mean that everyone always acts this way. Therefore, we’ve created a list of simple rules that you need to follow when you use Connectedreams. Connectedreams has ZERO-TOLERANCE POLICY FOR ABUSIVE BEHAVIOR. If you don’t follow the rules, you risk being kicked off and banned as a user forever.
- 1. Respect each other’s time. Never be late for the meeting (online or offline). Don’t force your connection for more of their time after the first interaction unless they offer. There is no obligation for them to give you more time. If someone you are talking to repeatedly breaks this rule, please report them to us.
- 2. No hate speech. Slurs or hate speech, including denigrating comments involving race, caste, sexual orientation, religious or political belief, age, or just about anything else, whether they be personal or general, besides being very uncool, are not allowed.
- 3. Do not ask for MENTORS UNLESS YOU ARE SERIOUS. Use ConnectPlus mindfully, and remember people are busy.
- 4. Respect everybody’s privacy and don’t share their personal information. Don’t share any personal information of any user (either mentor or protégée) unless you have explicit permission from them to do so. This includes threats of publishing personal information on a public forum.
- 5. Don’t threaten or stalk people. This includes threats of violence, and threats to hurt others in any way. Anyone found breaking this rule will be banned permanently and, if need be, reported to the relevant authorities.
- 6. Don’t hurt people. Don’t exchange content that is inappropriate, including things that are violent or sexual in nature. People breaking this rule will have their accounts banned.
- 7. Maintain a positive attitude and atmosphere on the platform. Positivity spreads positivity and positivity spreads faster than negativity. Please report to us about any negative behavior. Both negative and positive feedback helps us keep the connectedreams community in check and allows us to improve.
- 8. Don’t impersonate others. Be yourself, or a version of yourself. Please don’t pretend to be someone else. We cannot help you if you are not honest.
- 9. Do not use false personal identification. We respect your security and privacy, however in order to make the right connections for you, we need you to be completely honest with your information. That includes your (1) real name (2) real age (3) real professional and educational background and (4) honest goals, dreams, and aspirations. We cannot help you if you are not honest.
- 10. Don’t lie about your professional achievements. Don’t use fake tags or deceptive links or try to mislead others about the things about yourself. Don’t use other people’s achievements as yours. Users found to be lying will have their accounts banned.
- 11. Don’t promote self-harm. Do not share content that glorifies self-harm. Do not encourage others to harm themselves. Connectedreams is a safe space to support each other’s dreams and aspirations.
- 12. Don’t ask for job or internship from the role models AND MENTORS. Though Connectedreams believes that connecting beyond your current circles of family and friends creates new economic opportunities for people, Connectedreams is not a job portal. Don’t push role models to give you a job or internship.
- 13. Don’t use Connectedreams as a vehicle for generating revenue or customers for affiliate marketing. No phishing.
- 14. Don’t use Connectedreams to intrude on other people’s privacy. There’s enough of that going on already.
- 15. Adult content. Connectedreams is not the place to be sharing any kind of adult or not-safe-for-work content.
- 16. Don’t be a nuisance regarding technology. We worked hard to build and maintain this platform for you, so we ask you not to do the following:
Don’t try to circumvent or compromise our security or access non-public areas of the Connectedreams website.
Don’t use robots or other automated technology to access Connectedreams .
Don’t use malware or other evil code when you speak/write to a mentor.
Do not scrape content from Connectedreams.
Don’t try to deceive other users or the public. If someone has blocked you, respect their decision and do not try to communicate with them through an alternative account.
Don’t interfere with others’ use of Connectedreams.
Don’t intentionally load test our Service or see how much traffic it can handle.
Don’t overload our servers with traffic.
- 17. Connectedreams’ rules EXPLICITLY FORBID sharing abusive content of any kind. This includes content of any kind that portrays or encourages violence towards people or animals.
- If you break the rules we may contact you and ask you to fix the problem immediately. If you don’t, your account may be suspended or deleted, your username forfeited, and your IP address may be permanently banned from logging into Connectedreams. We reserve the right to enforce or not to enforce these rules in whatever way we see fit, at our sole discretion, and we reserve the right to refuse or suspend service to anyone without an appeal.
- Connectedreams’ rules and policies do not create a duty or obligation for us to act in any particular manner. We reserve the right to change these rules at any time. By accepting our Terms of Use & Policies, you give us the right to do so at our sole discretion.
- Please play nice, be respectful, and have fun. Follow these guidelines and you will have nothing to worry about :)
- If you notice abusive behavior, please report it immediately by emailing connectedreams@connectedreams.com and we will look into it, and take necessary action as soon as possible. This email box is strictly for reporting abuse, and we will not respond to other requests sent here.
