About the Medium
The great things about the Medium that it is modern, stylish, and well-organized. You will enjoy writing here, especially knowing that your book club mates will read your posts.
Medium is very popular, and there are many unique articles in which authors share their experiences and opinions. For example, recently I read this controversial and discussional one. Bloggers can write their articles in their blogs, but the probability that someone finds them and read is low. It is much better to create collective publications, read, and comment on each other articles. This structure is similar to Livejournal groups, but it’s a modern version of that and looks better.
There are two roles in publications: Writers and Editors. I suggest we will all have equal Editor roles. If the initiative develops further, we will think about it later.
What should you do?
Let’s share our thoughts related to the reading club in the collective Book Club publication.
- Create an account on Medium.
- Comment under this post, I will add you to a group of Editors.
- Write your essay: click your userpic, choose New Story. When you finish writing, add the post to the publication clicking three dots in the upper right corner.
- Press the green button “Publish” and then add tags and press “Publish Now”.
