When I decided to publish a couple of Halloween-book recommendation articles, I went back and looked to see if I have written any before. I was reminded that I did write something for the blog at my old job about my favorite zombie books. I can’t steal that to post here, so I will put the list of titles here and link to the post where I talk about each book, As a bonus, the linked post will have links to where you can access these books on Libby.

The Books

  1. Zone One by Colson Whitehead — I read this one before he was famous. It is a literary zombie story.
  2. Warm Bodies by Isaac Marion — This one ruined my assertion that zombies could not be romantic characters.
  3. Dread Nation by Justina Ireland — A YA historical fiction with zombies.
  4. The Girl With All The Gifts by MR Carey — Also a movie.
  5. Feed by Mira Grant — The pseudonym of Seanan McGuire.
  6. Cell by Stephen King — I can’t have a horror list without Stephen King.
