I read for pleasure. But I also read for assignments. And my TBR is super long. And I want to stay informed with the news and various pop culture niches. I have a lot of reading I want to do. Over the last few years I’ve developed a system for myself so I can meet my reading deadlines and enjoy the books and articles I want to read on my own.

Where am I reading?

My Kindle is my main mode of reading these days. Occasionally I’ll pick up a print book or magazine, but I’m able to read so much more digitally, and it’s so much more convenient for me. I have a Kindle Paperwhite, but I also make use of the app on my iPhone and iPad.

The Reader app is my other main mode of reading, mostly the articles I find I want to read, and sometimes PDFs of books for writing a review or for academic interests. Though I do read with that app on my iPhone, I’m mostly using the desktop web app, with my iPad coming in second for longform reading. PDFs are a little harder to read on a phone screen.

On both apps I have a plethora of things to choose to read at any given time to fit…
