A Conductor Comes Home

Roderick Cox says that classical music isn’t just for rich, old, white people. A native of Macon, GA, Cox now has his dream job as the assistant conductor of the Minnesota Orchestra. While home to guest conduct his home town orchestra, he visited his high school alma mater to clue students in on the rewards of music beyond the pop charts.
