Grush (Winter 2014 Alumni), winner of TBS’s America’s Greatest Makers (2016)

With the conclusion of Wearable IoT World (WIoTW) Labs 5th class earlier this month, our alumni community passed an important threshold. We now have more than 100 startups armed with the strategic knowledge and network that comes with being a WIoTW alum.

Now is your chance to join their ranks!

We are very happy to announce that applications for the next San Francisco class are now open on F6S and AngelList. The class will run from August 30, 2016 to December 8, 2016.

With offices in San Francisco, Hong Kong, and Shenzhen, WIoTW Labs is the world’s first and largest accelerator, providing entrepreneurs with a structured accelerator program and on-going support throughout your company’s lifecycle. We work closely with companies in the Smart Cities, Automotive / Transportation, FinTech, Healthcare, and Industrial Industries (IIoT). In addition, we’re very excited about companies working on the infrastructure of IoT, such as security, sensors, big data, and artificial intelligence (AI).

Why accelerate your startup with us? Here’s what some of our alumni are doing:

  • Grush (Winter 2014), the smart toothbrush concept, was crowned America’s Greatest Maker on TBS’ technology competition show taking home $1 million from Intel
  • Nuheara (Spring 2015) went public on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) then gathered over $750k in pre-orders for their intelligent wireless earbuds
  • Home energy firm ElectrIQ Power (Winter 2016) racked up $60 million in pre-orders for its IQ System home energy system
  • Parking sensor startup FenSens (Winter 2016) saw 5,000 pre-orders before they even launched and are garnering retail interest from over 100 countries — from Europe, to Africa, to Asia.

…And saying:

“The program that [Wearable IoT World has] is amazing. Every week is tied to a specific topic, you meet people who have done it and are experts in the field. It’s very hands on learning in a nurturing environment. Networking has been phenomenal, and my perspective has really expanded. The opportunity to work through all the trainings with the team has been great. It has given us an element of team building and creativity, since we used to work in remote offices.” — Mark Meador, co-founder of Alola (Winter 2016)

The deadline to submit applications is August 9, 2106.
