A mobile application is only as good as the purpose it serves. Needless to say, a Real Estate App that serves one with no purpose may just be the gem another person is looking for in the pile of applications on Apple and Google’s repository.

But what real estate apps are currently trending and what are they for. Let’s start by doing what we all commonly do, “search”.

Top 5 results are as follows with no particular category:

1. Roi’s List App

Roi’s List App is an application designed for investors by investors. Whether you are just starting out and trying to build a large network, or you are a pro who is looking to have more deals brought to you at your convenience.

From wholesalers, cash buyers, lenders, to contractors…

Roi’s List is a one stop shop to meet, expand your business and grow your network.

It seems that this app is fairly new but has already gained attention. Possibly it is much more intuitive and focuses on a broader niche. It is free to try. Follow their download link here.

2. Biggerpockets

BiggerPockets is the Real Estate Investing Social Network, Information Hub and Marketplace. With 400,000 members on their web platform this app seems to have a low download volume. And the reviews aren’t as expected. They missed the point of a social network perhaps.

BiggerPockets is one of the most respected online real estate networking and information resource platforms, created for professionals, investors, homeowners, and other aficionados. With over 400,000 members, 1,500,000+ forum posts, and tens of thousands of articles, BiggerPockets is changing an industry, one investor at a time.

3. Cloze

If you suffer from inbox overload, and want a solution than can help keep track of it all, Cloze is worth considering. Shortly after setup, the Cloze app was integrated with my email accounts including my calendar, social accounts and Evernote (click here in case you’re not familiar with Evernote) The Cloze dashboard includes a daily agenda that aggregates your inbox, contacts, calendar and to-do list into an easy to manage list. The app even surfaces emails with mentions of follow-up activities on a specific day. Looking for related files and documents? Cloze also presents a clickable history of communication from each contact with related attachments. While not really a social networking app like Roi’s List. Cloze is getting a buzz in contact management among real estate professionals.

4. Matterport

Everyone’s talking about virtual reality in the real estate realm, so why not us? Visually stunning and so easy to use, Matterport is a all-in-one “reality capture system” that gives REALTORS® realistic, virtual reality experiences that feel as real as being there, which is why it’s perfect for those who specialize in luxury properties and/or relocations. The app brings your listings to life with 3D photography, interactive floor plans and more. The price tag for a Matterport camera may make the system prohibitive for some real estate agents. On the flip side though, if you have a strong market and looking for something to get ahead with your clients, this might be it.

5. Sentrismart

Here’s a cool scenario. You’re at the door, about to open a Sentri Lockbox and your client asks for info on the listing. Impress them with your tech savviness. SentriSmart, the app offered by SentriLock, integrates data from Homesnap, HomeSpotter, RPR. In just a few clicks, you’ll have all of the property’s information at your fingertips.
