Canada is gradually shaping up as a viable migration choice for concerned Americans who are anxious over a possible Donald Trump victory in the U.S. presidential elections later this year, according to a recent study by a real estate franchiser.

Canada’s hottest real estate markets have set new records in March, and a Bank of Montreal report said that this upward momentum won’t be stopping any time soon.
According to the latest official figures, benchmark prices in Vancouver shot up by 23.2 per cent on a year-over-year basis last month, while Toronto prices saw an 11.6 per cent increase in the same period.

The average price of farmland across Canada increased 10.1 per cent last year as low interest rates and strong crop income helped maintain demand.
A report released Monday by Farm Credit Canada says last year’s gains are part of a continuous upward trend that started in 1993.
