Help REAL With Upcoming Series and Articles

Now that Medium has shown confidence in us, we are planning some new article series on issues where I or new writers have expertise and ability to report.

I will be doing a series of articles on income inequality and the deterioration in work and employment conditions.

A reader has suggested articles about actual experiences of World War II (i.e. “The Greatest Generation”) which formed ideas of American heroism and goodness that last until the present day. Now, these ideas rooted in mythic “goodness” support what I call the permawar and give permission for the taking of countless lives worldwide. I’ll be asking writers with experience in oral history and interviewing for help with this project.

And one of our new writers is undertaking a series on the history of NATO funding.
