Unfortunately, a series of unfortunate events have led to the untimely demise of both her mom and her sister. Worst of all, it seems that both of them passed away on the same day!

Mariah Carey's mother, Patricia, and sister, Alison, died on the same day over the weekend. What caused each of their deaths is still unknown to the public. Nevertheless, the pop star did make it clear that the deaths were at least somewhat unexpected and that they may be connected in some way.
