Greetings, citizens of Listeria! Today we’re going to talk about one of the most intriguing questions — “How do I earn by playing Legends of Listeria?”. Well, to be completely honest with you, Legends of Listeria is a first game, which features mixed free-to-play and play-to-earn mechanics, so there’s plenty of options on how players can profit.

The advantage of mixed models over clean P2E (like Axie Infinity) is that you don’t need to invest anything to start earning. Besides your time, of course. There are 5 basic ways to earn:

1. Trade in game gear, that you’ve won on the battlefields;

2. Participate in regular (weekly, monthly, quarterly, yearly) tournaments;

3. Participate in rating battles;

4. Capture lands;

5. Participate in staking programs;

But let’s take a closer look at each of them.

Loot boxes, items, heroes and marketplace

Everything that exists in the Listeria world is stored as an NFT and can be traded at an internal marketplace or exchanged between the players. It includes: heroes, gear (weapons, boots, armor, rings etc.), supplies (required to refine gear), skins or item scrolls.

Initially you’re starting the game with 4 random heroes, which can be sold on Realis marketplace once they’ve reached level 10. Gear is boosting stats of your hero, which can help you to win even more battles and earn more loot boxes.

New heroes, gear, etc. can be obtained from loot boxes, which you can earn by playing battles and leveling up your battle pass. A small cherry on top: loot boxes can also drop a random amount of $LIS token.

A few easy steps how to earn on in-game goods:

1. Download the game;
2. Fight in the battles and level up your battle pass;
3. Open free loot boxes you’ve got from the battle pass;
4. Sell your heroes, gear, skins or any other in-game goods on Realis marketplace in exchange for $LIS tokens;

Tournaments

2. Monthly: 2.25% of the revenue that game earned during the last month will be shared across 50 winners;

4. Yearly: 1% of the revenue that game earned during the whole year will be shared across 50 winners;

Rating battles

Third way to earn on the fields of Listeria is to constantly participate in the rating battles. You can enter the battlefield alone or together with your friends. Over 46% of the revenue that game earns will be used to reward players for their participation in the rating battles.

So, how do I earn here? Every player starts from 1000 ratings at the beginning of the season. Victory grants you 25 rating points, defeat deducts 20. The math is simple: get as high as you can during the season and share the part of game revenue! Distribution of $LIS rewards from rating battles will happen on a daily basis for top 200 players and teams.

Missed the start of the season? Not a big deal, it’s being restarted every two months!

Lands

This is a way that is suitable only for clans. Once per season, top clans can compete for the title of landlord. Top 20 clans will be rewarded with lands, which shares 5% of game revenue (in total). Income, which has been generated by clan land, is divided between the clan members based on their rating points.

Once your clan has captured land, you don’t need to do anything. Just chill and enjoy profits, while preparing for the next battle!

Staking
