Reality Cards debuts USDC/Matic Community Faucet
Helping Onboard & Welcome New Users
Reality Cards has been developing frictionless ways to welcome new users into the metaverse. Every Wednesday unvetica.eth (Reality Cards Community Ambassador) hosts a new user onboarding workshop which goes step-by-step on how to open a Metamask wallet, add USDC/Matic Tokens, migrate to Polygon, and place your first bets on the Reality Cards platform.
Expanding on these efforts, the Reality Cards team has deployed a USDC/Matic token faucet which is available on their Discord Server.
How To Access The USDC/Matic Faucet
If you’re brand new to the world of Ethereum you likely don’t have any USDC or Matic which are the two tokens needed in order to interact with the Reality Cards platform. USDC is used for placing bets on the platform, and Matic is used to pay for transactions (gas) on the Polygon Network.
To help you get started, your first bet on the Reality Cards platform is on us! All you have to do is use our faucet and you’ll be given:
- 1 Matic Token (for gas)
- 20 USDC (to place bets)
To access the Faucet and get started using Reality Cards follow these steps:
- Join the Reality Cards Discord Server
- Find the “RC Tap” bot in the right-hand memberlist
3. Directly message the RC Tap bot the phrase !makeitrain + your wallet address
4. That’s it! You’ll now see the bot checking your wallet and send you both USDC and Matic! The Matic tokens will be deposited to the wallet address provided, and the USDC tokens will be deposited directly to the Reality Cards platform (you wont see them in your Metamask account).
A few things to note — If you already have USDC or Matic tokens the bot will not dispense tokens since you’re not considered a ‘new user’. Additionally, any users we find abusing this faucet to game it for additional tokens will be banned, period.
