Improving Customer Responses with Typeform

Realtors are talking with dozens of people every day. You’re likely using a web form such as Google Forms or SurveyMonkey to conduct surveys, user feedback, or customer onboarding. It probably looks like this:

Boring!

It works, but it’s not beautiful. If you want good response rates on your surveys then you need beautiful forms. According to a study by Genroe Consulting, “external surveys have response rates of under 15%” and this is further reduced by ugly forms.

Here’s the solution we use at RentHero. It’s called Typeform, and yes there is a free version.

RentHero is not affiliated or being paid by Typeform for this promotion. We’re just fans! Use our referral link.

Here’s why Typeform is awesome:

  • Obsession with User Experience → Makes your brand look amazing
  • Personalized → “Nice to meet you Amy, pick an option below.”
  • Build-a-Form web app → Easy for anyone on your team to use
  • Accept online payments → VISA or Mastercard
  • Smart Flows → Change the order of the questions based on responses
  • Score Calculators → Generate scores based on answers

Here’s a side-by-side comparison of Google Forms vs Typeform. Both are clean, but notice the “0 of 2 answered” at the bottom of the Typeform. A progress indicator helps keep your respondent committed, leading to fewer dropped responses.

Did you know you can even trigger an SMS text message to be sent whenever a Typeform is completed? Or trigger a new row to be entered into your Google Sheets? Our article on Zapier shows you how (coming soon).

Finally, here are some templates. Look at the Template Gallery on the right side. You can see endless examples of use cases: feedback forms, event registrations, purchase forms… etc.

At RentHero we believe in leveraging SaaS (Software as a Service) whenever possible. There are many things that can be done better and cheaper by using 3rd party tools. Screening rental leads is one of those things that a Realtor shouldn’t have to do themselves. For just $200/month, a RentHero Assistant can qualify leads for you, so you can focus on more important things (like closing sales).

Other lead gen services still require you to qualify the leads yourself. RentHero actually has full conversations with each tenant — educating and qualifying them. We can do this affordably because we operate a highly efficient call center powered by artificial intelligence. It’s next generation of technology for empowering the realtors of tomorrow.
