1. Project Background

REAPCHAIN was established with the goal of developing a blockchain mainnet that can be used in real life. In order to apply the innovative technology of the blockchain in real life, we conducted research and development to solve the existing blockchain’s trile, and completed the development of the REAPCHAIN MVP version in June of this year, and built a test net to verify the performance and stability, and automated testing The tool is complete. In the future, we will proceed with the performance verification of Alpha and Beta versions sequentially, and present objective performance results in conjunction with actual commercial services.

2. Test items and area

2.1 REAPCHAIN Mainnet TC

  • TC1 : Input processing performance

Transaction throughput per unit time, assuming transaction and block integrity when requesting data registration

  • TC2 : Query processing performance

Response throughput per unit time when requesting data inquiry

  • TC3 : Load processing performance

Transaction throughput per unit time according to the number of data registration request clients

  • TC4 : Contract processing performance

Contract transaction throughput per unit time, assuming contract transaction and block completeness when requesting contract data registration

  • TC5 : Consensus processing time

Time required for validating new generated blocks

3. Implementation of TestNet

3.1. TestNet components

  • Blockchain node server

(14 members of the RC standing committee, 15 nodes of the User Steering Committee, 1 boot node of Qmanager, and 8 candidate nodes for consensus)

  • Test node

5. Future plans

The development of the ReapChain MVP version was completed, the calculation method to calculate the verification conditions and performance values was derived, and the automated test tool was completed.

In the TestNet environment, we will test performance and stability by using test automation tools, calculate objective numbers based on the verified data, and build a commercial service on the TestNet in the future to present objective performance results.
