The service-type blockchain project ‘Reapchain’ officially launched its own main net and bridge
Service-oriented blockchain project ‘Reapchain’ officially launches its proprietary mainnet and bridge for building a secure and transparent blockchain ecosystem, as announced on the 12th.
The Reapchain mainnet consists of three major components, including the ‘Shell-Core Structure’ of a hybrid blockchain architecture, an improved consensus algorithm called PoDC (Proof of Double Committee) combining DPoS and BFT, and the ‘Reap-MiddleChain,’ a middle chain optimized for the characteristics of individual industries.
The ‘Shell-Core Structure’ resolves the trilemma of existing blockchains, addressing compatibility and scalability issues by integrating and unifying various mainnet protocols. The PoDC consensus algorithm achieves decentralization through the operation of a total of 29 nodes, including 14 permanent nodes and 15 operating nodes.
The ‘Reap-MiddleChain’ supports the requirements of various industry groups, enabling real-time high-speed processing and distributed storage of large-scale data.
Notably, Reapchain incorporates EVM (Ethereum Virtual Machine), allowing seamless utilization of existing ERC-standard digital contracts (Smartcontracts) without the need for separate development for asset liquidity (ST creation). With the inclusion of the IBC (Inter-blockchain communication) protocol, Reapchain facilitates communication (exchange of data and assets) between heterogeneous chains, ensuring interoperability.
In addition, Reapchain has developed its own exclusive bridge, connecting two different blockchains, emphasizing ecosystem expansion in conjunction with the mainnet. A blockchain bridge acts as an intermediary in transaction situations, allowing dApps developed on different chains to communicate and operate together, overcoming the limitations of cross-chain communication inherent in the blockchain’s built-in parameters.
Through the launch of its proprietary mainnet and bridge, Reapchain aims to actively promote the establishment of a transparent and healthy blockchain ecosystem, sharing network transaction revenues with all stakeholders who hold or utilize REAP, including all data within the Reapchain ecosystem.
