Corpuscles

I thought I was O positive,
It seems I am not.

I find I am A positive.
It came as a shock.

It hasn't made much difference though,
To know this sort of thing.

It still snows, the rain is still wet, the sun warms me, at times, burns me.

A lack of melanin has made that difference,
And to others, difference, a surfeit of the same.

Strange thing biology, and our perception of it.
When under all of this stuff, we are all just red corpuscles

Streaming into the dark.
