reBaked is launching on Aurora as the Ethereum-compatible scaling solution!
reBaked aims to evolve as the main hub for the distribution of community treasuries across projects building on NEAR — and benefit immediately from the ‘first mover’ advantage in this new and exciting space — which is projected to grow further during an anticipated bear market (we will explain this in a separate post).
reBaked’s main products are already in production use by a selected group of projects in the BETA version, and it is scheduled to roll out as a public beta in the next few weeks. People interested in becoming a Collaborator and contributing to promising projects can join our community. The project combines our shared knowledge of the last year working with numerous teams.
The NEAR Protocol is a Proof-of-Stake (PoS) blockchain that’s intended as a community-run platform to host Dapps, but with unique sharding technology designed to make it much cheaper and more scalable than some popular competitors like Ethereum. Aurora is an Ethereum Virtual Machine created by the team at the NEAR Protocol, delivering a turn-key solution for developers to operate their apps on an Ethereum-compatible, high-throughput, scalable and future-safe platform, with low transaction costs for their users.
First step- launching $BAKED on Aurora
As the very first step, we will launch $BAKED on Aurora.

As the very first to promote this initiative, we will remove the liquidity from Ethereum $BAKED in Uniswap on Tuesday 10/05/2022 at 8:00 UTC. Uniswap had very limited liquidity volumes, and most of our volume has been concentrated on Gate & Quickswap.
The liquidity will be migrated to the Trisolaris pool, which is expected to be seeded on Tuesday 10/05/2022 at 9:00 UTC.
It is suggested that you will avoid using Uniswap since the fragmented liquidity might lead to impermanent loss and you might be given an unfavourable price.
What if I have ERC20 tokens on Ethereum?
- You can continue to exchange them on Gate.io with the USDT pair or with the ETH pair. There will be no foreseen changes in the availability of the ERC20 version on Gate.
What if I have an ERC20 token on Polygon?
- You can continue to exchange them on Gate.io with the USDT pair or with the ETH pair. There are no foreseen changes in the availability of the Polygon ERC20 version on Gate
- You can continue using the Quickswap liquidity pool. There are no foreseen changes in the availability of the Polygon ERC20 $BAKED liquidity pool on QuickSwap.
In the next few days, we will also launch our new staking contract which introduces better incentives for our staking community on Aurora. The Ethereum staking will be retired (a remuneration of fees will be given to users, while the Polygon will continue to be available).
How I can access the ERC20 BAKED token on Aurora?
You will be able to purchase through Trisolaris or through Rainbow bridge. A new Medium article will be shortly available.
Looking Ahead
reBaked is expected to achieve the following metrics over 2022:
- Incubate 10 projects through the reBaked build- the amount is easier scalable, but we want to focus on quality projects with extensive due diligence, rather than speed for quantity
- Launch BUIDL campaigns which exceed $2 Million in TVL
- Onboard 10k users
To achieve these, we will collaborate on a marketing campaign to promote the deployment and redesign with new generous user incentives — that will start rolling in June 2022.
