These 5 Places Need Spring Cleaning
And these places don’t include your yard, garage, or your closet
A little over a month ago, the Vernal Equinox (March 20th this year) signaled the first day of spring, but in some areas, winter seemed to be procrastinating its exit. No matter where you live, spring signals a time of new beginnings: the flower and leaf buds on trees emerge and stretch out to absorb the sun, flowers reach up from underground to decorate the landscape, and several kinds of animals either emerge from hibernation or are born.
Even we, as humans, tend to become more alive, more ready for change and new beginnings. Unlike New Year’s Day, spring can bring a desire to make changes in our lives. Because the world is coming alive around us, we feel a desire to be more alive.
It starts with opening the windows to let the fresh, slightly crisp air replace the stale air from a home closed up all winter. Not only does that fresh air enter our home, but so does bird song and the desire to be outside. Daylight begins to lengthen.
With spring comes the desire for change. Many people engage in a practice that is as old as society…
