UKGovHack — Call for Hackathon Challenges

Our aim with UKGovHack is to create an environment where community members feel free to suggest what they would like to see in an event and know that we will try our hardest to accommodate. We’ve already had quite a lot of feedback which has shaped the event, including the formation of our conference which will run in parallel with the hackathon’s first day.

Unlike most hackathons, we’re not asking sponsors to set challenges. While we encourage you to check out all of their services, think about their use in your projects, and will be on hand to help if needed, we want the challenges to be suggested by the community.

Instead of focussing on specific departments or agencies, we’re interested to see challenges which tackle more broad challenges faced by a wider proportion of the public sector.
