You might not remember where you were and what you were doing when you first heard about Rebel Book Club. But you probably remember the moment you first walked into that room full of people and thought, ‘This isn’t what I expected…’

This, you see, isn’t any ordinary book club, the kind where you talk about the book for five minutes if you must, but really it’s just an excuse to get out of the house and have a natter with friends or neighbours. Rebel Book Club is a burgeoning, nonfiction-focused phenomenon that’s spreading like wildfire and burning just as bright. Rebel readers are engaged.

Rebels come to meetups with passion and curiosity. We want to truly connect and collaborate with other people, and we want to act on the books we read. Individually and collectively, we’re using our reading to reflect on how we can live better, more purposeful lives. For some of us, that means telling our own stories, writing our own words.

That’s where Rebel Writers Club comes in.

If you’re a member of the RBC, you’re welcome to come to Rebel Writers Club meet-ups and to submit to the Rebel Writers Club publication on Medium. While your writing will be visible to anyone on Medium, only Rebels can submit pieces, so your Rebel status will need to be…
