Yuser has the pleasure to announce that today marks the launch of another element of our platform – the Yuser NFT Marketplace.

Recap to date:

1. November 2021 — Yuser launches NextGems NFT collection on Moonriver
2. December 2021— Sale of NextGems finishes
3. January 2022 — Yuser integrates Subquery into its blockchain and graph stack to better index the Moonriver Blockchain
4. February 2022 — automated testing and ambassador testing on the Moonbase Alpha is complete

As such we would like to take this opportunity to outline key features of the marketplace and focus on what differentiates Yuser from other NFT markets out there.

As some of you might know already, Yuser is a mobile-first platform. We’ve always believed that the most seamless user experience can only be provided via a mobile application — especially in 2022. However, integrating with any web3 protocols via mobile provides a set of unique challenges that can be hard to address. Most notably, something like a Metamask browser extension doesn’t work on mobile and although Metamask has its own mobile application — said app doesn’t easily connect with other apps for a hassle-free, interoperable user experience.

Additionally, Apple and Google have very strict policies when it comes to the sale of digital content via mobile applications that are available in their app stores. Namely, they demand that companies use their payment gateways and take up to 30% cut on all the sales.

This is the reason why at Yuser we’ve been working to take advantage of both worlds — mobile and web to provide you with an online portal and an NFT marketplace that offers truly unique set of features.

Here is what you can expect from the Yuser Marketplace:

1. Sign up to Yuser on mobile and log into your account on desktop, connect Metamask via Yuser Web App
2. Display your NFTs — once your wallet is connected via the web app you will be able to see your NFTs in the web app and in the mobile app. Part of the reason why that’s possible is because we are actually indexing the Moonriver blockchain and storing key information about the NFTs and transactions in our own graph database Neo4j. At first, the content that will display in the Yuser NFT Marketplace will be NextGems. Once we launch our minting contract all NFTs minted via Yuser will display too. We will also display NFTs from our verified partners such as Moonbeam or Zoombies.
3. Get notified — any time someone buys your NFT, makes an offer or your auction expires, you will get a push notification through your mobile phone.
4. Buy NFTs via the web app — even though the NFT purchases will only be available on the web app for now, Yuser is only constrained by Apple and Google app store policies and the moment they change (that’s already underway as there is a lawsuit against Apple right now for that exact reason) we will be able to allow our users to buy NFTs via a mobile application.
5. Browse Yuser NFT Marketplace — users will be able to browse the NFTs via the Yuser Mobile App and Web App.
6. Mint NFTs — creators will be able to upload their content as posts and convert the media content of those posts to NFTs. This allows content creators of all kinds to have a better idea of how to price their NFTs, if, for example, the content is very popular and gets a lot of engagement prior to being minted.

March 4th 2022 marks a key date in the rollout process for the Yuser NFT Marketplace. As of that day the secondary sales of Yuser NextGems are enabled, we will also be announcing new and exciting functions for NextGems!
