We could safely say that, this is a short story of how we fought against Microsoft Excel and actually won. Don’t get us wrong. We use excel sheets everyday. But, no, this is not the right tool when you aspire to elevate your game with automations, advanced analytics and more complex processes. For these cases, you definitely need to go a step further. Especially if you are G4S, the world’s largest Security Services Company with hundreds of thousands of employees and millions of customers.

Working in close partnership with them for almost two years, taught us quite a lot about the big companies’ struggle with digital transformation. G4S has embarked on a brave transformational journey, experimenting with new commercial models, launching smart security systems to the market, and automating internal processes replacing legacy systems by using cloud based applications. …

Foreword.

In 2019, we had the chance to facilitate more than 40 Design Sprints around the globe. Unfortunately, due to confidentiality, we can talk publicly for a tiny fraction of them. So we kind of celebrate every time we get the chance to share a piece of our work with the world, and for this one, we have to thank Vodafone for letting us share this 3rd case study at Reborrn.

While this case study is published by REBORRN, the outcome is the result of a rare-to-find cross-functional team consisting of Vodafone leaders, Vodafone’s roster agencies, The Storylab and George Levendis. …

Most people in contemporary organizations are familiar with the term (or the role) of the Agile Coach. But what does an Agile Coach exactly do? As you’re reading this post right now, I invite you to make a 2-minutes pause, think and write down a few bullets about what you think that this person does in an organization.

I wish I could somehow gather and present all your answers here before going forward, because I bet that all of them are going to be different. …

Introduction

Following our guest lecture at The University of Georgia last month, we felt compelled to give our content a new lease of life and turn it into an article that would be of relevance for everyone out there trying to figure out how to navigate in the uncharted waters of the post-corona work era.

The past few months seem so surreal that it feels as if we’ve walked right into a blockbusters film. What started out as an ordinary flu in China, turned out to be the most serious health crisis the world has experienced in the last century. …

The first photo I took in my first day: Reborrn’s rooftop view

I am starting this with a disclaimer: describing my experience in Reborrn would be an experiment for me and it will include poetry, luminaries, feelings, pop culture references and Easter eggs — namely, my favourite tools when I am writing from a personal perspective. This is probably an unorthodox content for a platform like this, but in the end, form follows function. Warning: there will be a lot of conscious parallelisms to a romance here.

Prologue

Well, generally, I am not saying that you cannot dive into a new work environment in your 30’s, 40’s, 50’s, 100’s. I am just saying that it is harder to get inspired, to get truly excited with a job, especially when you have tasted, in my humble opinion, the ultimate professional joy: the creation of your own business, successfully or not, like I did. Everyone knows that being the boss of yourself is this magic nirvana stage you aim to reach, after years of battles with copy machines, coffee making, all-nighters at the office, disappointments, bad colleagues and self-doubt. It sounds arrogant to exclude excitement from any new job so easily, that’s why there is this brilliant moment in life when you change and your perceptions evolve. …

CountryOS — Getting everything under one roof, in a simple, intuitive user interface

Έτσι εντέλει, αν είναι μια σχέση που πρόκειται να κρατήσει, γιατί πρέπει να είναι τόσο βασανιστική;
