We’ve known the team at Smile.io for some time. Last fall, our team visited the Smile.io headquarters in Kitchener, Canada, and (after several rounds of Canadian whisky) its been a perfect match ever since.

After sitting around swapping stories about a few of our favorite Shopify stores, we all quickly realized that loyalty and subscriptions go hand in hand. So, the ReCharge team quickly traveled back to Santa Monica and made it our goal for the following weeks to get a beta integration between the two best-of-breed apps launched.

The numbers don’t lie. Customers that commit to a subscription inherently have a higher LTV than a one-time purchaser. But more importantly, we realized the best customers are ones that have a relationship with your brand. Specifically rewarded repeat customers (learn more here).
