A Symphony Of Sounds And Colours:My Favorite Morning Escape
Second Week Prompt Of Nature
Sahil Patel’s prompt Memories of Garden instantly transports me to my delightful visits to my son’s apartment complex.
The exquisitely landscaped gardens and adjacent parks have consistently drawn me in, making each weekend spent with my son an opportunity to relish quality time together amidst the enchanting surroundings.
My day begins at 5 am when the world is bathed in the soft glow of dawn. Stepping out into the crisp morning air, I find solace in strolling through the gardens within his complex.
The flowering trees, adorned in vibrant orange, yellow, and red hues — predominantly the African Tulips — paint a vivid tapestry of colour against the backdrop of lush greenery.
The carefully landscaped garden with winding stone pathways leads to a cozy corner where two inviting benches rest below a verdant green roof.
Above, a natural roof formed by climbing vines, creepers, and blossoming foliage creates a interplay of light and shadow, casting gentle sunlight onto the inviting benches below.
This spot has become my sanctuary, a cherished retreat where the tranquillity of the atmosphere provides the ideal setting for my morning rituals of reading and writing.
The melodic symphony of chirping birds and the occasional fluttering butterfly enhances the enchantment of this peaceful haven.
As I settle onto these benches, surrounded by the breathtaking beauty of the trees and flowers, the morning transforms into a magical time of creativity and peace.
The vibrant colours of nature inspire a sense of serenity within me.
This ritual marks the perfect commencement to my day, consistently filling it with happiness and joy.
With its flourishing beauty, the garden has become an integral part of my cherished memories and a source of boundless inspiration.
“Hello, sun in my face. Hello, you who made the morning and spread it over the fields…Watch, now, how I start the day in happiness, in kindness.” –Mary Oliver
