A Writer’s Logo
Does a writer need a logo for author branding?
I started my career as a business executive in a leading corporation house in the country more than a decade ago. During that time, I used to work with the marketing team, where I gathered hands-on experience in corporate branding. Since then, I don’t know why I always visualize myself as a brand. The brand-Umme Salma.
I was not clear at that time about what I intended to do. But I firmly believed that I would be a brand at whatever I do one day.
After so many years, finally, I can see a light of hope to concentrate on making myself a brand as I start my journey as a passionate writer. I am still on my way to finding my voice as a writer, and I have to walk a long path in the writing journey to become a brand as an author.
I wrote a story on writer/author branding titled Create your own brand as a writer, and my readers loved that. Those who have not yet read that can check it out.
The logo is one of the elements of a brand.
A logo should represent what the brand is all about and summarize the essence of the brand identity.
Author logos are a creative way to make our brand identified and remarkable and allow us to express our style to our individuality like our website, email, business card, etc.
Even having a writer logo helps us to appear more professional.
I have developed my logo as a writer/blogger/author for the first time.
As you (my readers and fellow writers) are an integral and indispensable part of my writing journey, I am sharing my logo with you.
Please write your feedback on my logo in the comment box. Moreover, I would love to hear your perspective on the role of a logo as a writer.
I would love to shoutout some inspiring reads by my brilliant fellow writers:
