I’m back on Medium after a three-week absence.
Why I left
I wasn’t quietly quitting, frustrated over falling Medium earnings or protesting climate change. October was my best month on the platform, and I earned my first Top Writer badge for Satire.
The simple truth behind my absence is my small business got busier.
Medium is my playground of laughter, learning, and connecting with other writers, not a source of income. I love it here, but if I’m honest, sometimes Medium stops being fun.
