According to the Oxford University Press (OUP), “Goblin mode” refers to a type of behavior that is “unapologetically self-indulgent, lazy, slovenly, or greedy, typically in a way that rejects social norms or expectations”

Over one of the weekends when you decide you are going to spend it entirely in your bedroom without caring to shower or changing clothes while binge-watching your favorite show or writing back-to-back Medium articles, eating on your bed, and dropping food all over your bedsheet, you are basically planning to go Goblin mode.

Many of us may have gone through the Goblin mode during the lockdown 😃
