Let’s Recall The Authors Whose Work Stands Out in Our Memory

To let them know that their writing is beneficial to readers

In the past few days, I haven’t been able to view any new content on Medium. I am, however, making an effort to catch up on what you have all published. I recently looked at my following list and noticed several authors I used to read. The poets and writers whose work I used to like and relate to. Recently, Medium has undergone so many changes that a large number of writers have left.

So, today I had the idea to write something to remember them, as they were such an integral part of the community.

The very first writer that I can remember is Ali

Ali is a phenomenal poet who once produced fantastic poetry. Her writing is extremely inspiring and creative. She is also an artist, and she used to include lovely illustrations in her poems.

Ilana Lydia is a leader, writer, and theater artist. The reason I enjoy reading her writing so much is because she writes from the heart. She doesn’t confine herself to a single genre, area, or message.

Divya Goswami is a teacher and practitioner of Kathak. She is the founder and owner of Divyakala. She writes and tells stories. She writes poetry that is deeply felt and emotive. You would adore reading her poignant and meaningful poems, I’m sure.

Mahein Kazi is an articulate writer. She has lived in four different nations. She enjoys writing about personal experiences, life lessons gleaned from travel, culture, environment, and spirituality, as well as strategies for enhancing mental health and bridging cultural gaps, with the idea that we are all more alike than different.

Evon is a dreamer with great dreams. She wrote and encouraged others to live amazing lives while enabling her voice to be heard as a result of her “idiotic” incurable autoimmune condition. Writing, in her opinion, allows her to escape into a fantasy realm where she is free to be anyone she wants to be.

Dharan.M. is a poet who writes with simplicity. He is an author, Kriya Yoga initiate, spiritual mentor, social worker, and therapist.

Many authors have abandoned their writing on Medium. This post may serve as a reminder to them that their work is exceptional, that it has a positive impact, and that they should continue writing here. You can view the writer’s work by clicking on the links I’ve included in their profile.

You may have a list of your favorite authors who haven’t written here in a while. Do let me know in the comments.
