Snow in the Desert ❄️🌵
A magical sight!
When the snow comes down, it’s so mystical to me. I always enjoy the first snowfall when it covers the earth, and everything seems so serene, bright, and pure. When I lived in the Northeast, I loved when the snow was wet, and it coated the trees with ice and made them look like glass.
My favorite and unexpected place to see the snow was in the desert; it is the most awe-inspiring. It doesn’t happen often, but when it does, it looks incredible.
The hot desert doesn’t seem like it would get snow. It is so spiritual seeing the saguaro cacti with their arms reaching towards the sky speckled with white and the snow blanketing the brown desert floor.
I especially loved driving north to Sedona, Arizona and getting caught in storms, and seeing the red rocks decorated in milky white snow. Sedona is a very sacred place since it is known to have metaphysical vortexes. Viewing the snow there made it even more special. You…
