First Week Prompt Of June Of Nature Coloum
"World Environment Day is the 'people’s day' for doing something to take care of the Earth. That 'something' can be focused locally, nationally, or globally; it can be a solo action or involve a crowd. Everyone is free to choose." - United Nations Environment Programme
Today is a World Environment Day. A day that is dedicated to our environment to spread awareness about environmental issues and how we can address them and bring the change. The main aim is to engage peoplein activities that can promote, protect and conserve the natural resources.
We as a part of this earth, are responsible to make the environment sustainable. As an individual, it’s our responsibility to take such steps such as tree plantation, recycling and reducing pollution.
If we don’t take such steps to improve the quality of our environment then in future it will damage our body and lives. We take so much from this environment such as water to drink, air to breath and food to eat which are the main three pillar of our living beings.
However, if we exploit and polluted the environment there will be many issues we need to deal with in future like health issues, climate change, resource depletion and so on.
This week’s prompt is,
Join us in celebrating World Environment Day by reflecting on the beauty and importance of our natural world. Today, let’s take a moment to appreciate the incredible diversity of life that surrounds us, from the smallest insects to the tallest trees. Share your thoughts, stories, or photos of how you connect with nature. What steps are you taking to protect our planet? How can we work together to ensure a sustainable future for generations to come? Let’s inspire each other to make a positive impact on our environment!
