Yes! I Do Struggle In Writing

Writing has become a challenge not because I am 100% in writer’s block. I have many stories to share. My struggle in writing happens because of 2-factors.

  • Monetizing doesn’t work for me. I will not repeat a thousand times. I can only use the 3rd party payment services for “business with low risk.” I do not know how risky my writings are here. I raised a call for a dispute to ask for clarity, and Stripe will not disclose further. I decided to move on.
  • I have been on a pretty rough time. I lived in a narcissistic and toxic environment. There are days I am angry and hurting, but I shut myself. I choose to be silent. I can vent my anger in Medium, but how much does that help me recover?

Let’s move forward.

Your prize (like monetization) is not the end means. If you are like me, unable to monetize anything here, I hope you will channel your attention to other winning factors.

For example:

  • I can always build my rapport with others
  • I love writing, and
  • It keeps me sane when I do a reverse psychology by telling myself good scenarios

So, do engage with people, build rapport, and build your presence. Because you will not know where and when the fruits of your labor turn out to be. Let it surprise you. I know it is not exciting when we rather spare ourselves from anxiety or the unknown.

When I accept that it is okay not to monetize via Medium, I find my words flow easily. I have topics to write and share as I review and reframe my focus. And I am learning to cut it short.

Well, this is long. *shaking my head*

Now, let me introduce to you 3-articles, which I hope you will find helpful.

This is by Jani Konjedic. You will not want to miss reading this piece. I have been there. My plans and enthusiasm were all in, but I still have not achieved or completed what I started. I quit trying 4 years ago.

This beautiful piece is written by Muchina T.K, who encouraged us to look for life out there.

I love this piece by Karen Schwartz. How many of us have been dashing through life and missing out a lot of love, peace, and joy?

I thank you, Sahil Patel, for including me in the prompts. I invite more of you who read this piece to share with us have you ever struggle to write? What keeps you going? How do you bounce forward into writing again?
