A little girl hides within me
She feels small, insignificant, shy and afraid
I am waiting to meet her
I shine my light of acceptance on her
I welcome her away from the cave and out into the world
Come my child
Join with me
Do not be afraid
I will look after you
I won’t be ashamed of you
I won’t try and keep you hidden any longer
You are me and I am you
Vulnerability is not to be frightened of
But celebrated
It’s our humanity
I am all of you and you are all of me
