Dragon Shell🐉

His heart is like an ocean bane

That quietly whispers her name

As it crashes on the shore.

🐉

Her eyes burn like ripened lychee fires.

Salty tears from promised liars,

Her heart breaks alittle more.

🐉

A breath rises as a dragon sighs,

Palpitation with a side of cries;

Love is spilt across the floor.

🐉

Hands may scramble for the change,

Gather up and pay amends

And reverse the lonely lore:

The dragon’s head is grey like ash

Flying on the wings that crashed

On the high tide of the shore.

🐉

Shaking off the sandy tears

An ocean full of things and fears

His heart breaks alittle more.

🐉

Waves are crashing on his back.

His love is like a heart attack

Redemption can’t implore.

🐉

Hands which never touched her heart,

Her one true love-a world apart

Hidden to the core!

🐉

The dragon curls it’s blackened head,

Heart and wings were left for dead

Along the ocean’s floor.

🐉

Slumber deep and slumber well-

Pretty dragon, Pretty shell;

Their hearts become the tide and shore.

🐉
